Gary Boivin: Son Of Spyder |
This is my June '63 Schwinn Traveller that I finished over a year ago. This bike was lowered 1.25 inches in the front by cutting the front fork The tire just clears the top.I also cut my spider headbadge with the Laser from work.I engraved a really small spider in the chrome piece that sits on the top of the front forks.I also painted flames with white then yellow over the top followed by blue pin stripes accenting the flames.I even painted wheelie flames on the bottom of the cranks.I ride it every week the old three speed still works great.I found this bike, and it was junk; but when I saw that we were both born June 1963, I knew it was meant to be. |
