Alex Frank and the Crank-Bombers: Greetings From Deutschland!
Hello; my name is Alex and I´m from Hannover in Germany. Here in Europe the custom-cycle scene is very small, because Germans love cars. So it is very difficult to find somebody who is interested in custom-cycles. There were no meetings here and so I decided to organize the first German Cruiser-Meeting. It was on the 25th of May. We meet at our local bikeshop; I work there during my holidays. This shop is nearly the only shop where you can get custom parts and bikes. We always have  ten cruisers in stock and a lot of parts.

This is a 2001 Dyno Lady Glide with a Bent Fork and a Metalflake paintjob. The bike has original Lowrider grips and dice streamers, some chrome parts and four lights. The saddle upholstery is the same color as the rest of the bike. I´ll be happy to see it in your gallery.
This bike is a 1932 Express. It has new paint with red scallops. I´ve tried to copy the hodrod style. I found the bike in a lake near our town, it was totally rusty.
This is an old no-name bike from the '60s. I´ve totally stripped it, and given it new paint. I´ve also added  some custom parts like flame-tires and grips and some new stickers.
This is my lowrider which is only 30cm high and totally customized. This bike was the big winner of the show at the Hannover Street National- the biggest US-car and bike meeting in Germany.
This bike is my first kustom cruiser, it is the Burnmaster-Bike and now the owner is my best friend Jens, a motorcycle customizer. We have started Germany's first kustom cycle club, the Crank Bombers. I´ve added our flyer (Below).

Our biggest problem is that it´s very hard to find cool bikes here, like old Schwinns.
German bikes are not ideal for custom jobs. The frames are too big and all the tubes are straight. It will be very nice to be your first IBRKA chapter in Deutschland!
